Jon Emerald


I have spent the past twenty years of my career owning and operating one of the largest privately owned medical colleges in Texas, The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP). In 1995, I was hired by original ownership, MacGregor Medical Association as Director of Finance, with the primary objective of growing a single campus school. Over the past twenty years I have served as a Campus President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive officer, while growing CHCP to eight campuses, one online campus and graduating over 10,000 students. In 2016, I sold my interest in CHCP and am focused on expanding the Emerald Insurance Agency.

Janet Hughes

I have been in the insurance industry for over 20 years and with Allstate since 2008. During this time, I have developed a vast knowledge of all types of insurance. I believe referrals are the best way you can compliment me, and I work hard at continuing to make sure I provide the best service available to every client. My family is the most important aspect in my life, and in my free time.  I enjoy spending time with those that I love.


Linda Ferguson

I found a perfect fit as a customer service specialist. I love my job, therefore, I really don’t work. When I am not at the office you can find me at my church serving the needs of others or spending time with my husband and best friend. I have two precious dogs that I love dearly. All three make me laugh a lot!!!

Lupita Castillo

Lupita spent 10 years as a property manager before changing to a career in the insurance industry. She believes that providing stellar customer service in day to day business is an important part of her work ethic. Lupita is very dedicated, knowledgeable and very well liked by the customers and peers. She is also fluent in Spanish.Lupita is an active volunteer and committee member for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

She is a actively involved in volunteerism and fund raising for charities related to children and animals. Lupita enjoys baking, reading books and traveling





Sal Leiva

I grew up in New Orleans, La. and have a B.A. degree in Business I have been working with insurance for four years. Working with  people everyday and helping them solve their risks issues is what

most excites me about the work I do. I take great joy in being a  trusted advisor to our customers. I really enjoy meeting new people  from different backgrounds.Whenever I’m not working, I like to spend time with my wife, and the rest of the family. I’m also  involved with “Fight to end Alzheimer’s” Foundation.
